Peter Harris CEO

Before becoming CEO of Spartan Global, Peter Harris held the same position at Spartan Education Group. During his four-year tenure there, starting in 2013, the organization more than doubled in size, growing from a single school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to five campuses in three markets with students from many international locations.

A seasoned executive in industries with touch points across the globe, Harris has served on more than a dozen boards of directors in education, healthcare, real estate and more. He earned an honors undergraduate degree in mathematical methods in the social sciences and political science from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.

Rod Zastrow, Spartan Global President

Rod Zastrow

After a 26-year career in the U.S. Air Force, Colonel Rod Zastrow (U.S. Air Force-Retired) joined Spartan Education Group in 2011 with a focus on international and U.S. military business development. As president of Spartan Global, Zastrow now uses his experience as a USAF F-15 fighter pilot to help students succeed.

Zastrow spent half his career in international posts, including the Royal Saudi Air Force, SFOR in Bosnia-Herzegovina, NATO air forces, Japan, the U.K., Germany and the 2000 Group of Eight summit. Zastrow also served as a policy advisor on staff for former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

An active pilot, Zastrow earned his USAF commission through AFROTC and his aerospace engineering degree from the University of Arizona. He later earned his MBA in aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Arts from the USAF Air War College.
